A daily word game you can only win together. Omit the obvious.
Omitsy is a daily word game for two. You and a buddy each get a secret word. On your turn you guess theirs from the clues so far, then give a one-word clue for yours. The catch: every word has a hidden omit list of the clues anyone would reach for first. Say one and the level ends for you both. Clear a level by the pin (par) and a harder one unlocks; there are three levels and three puzzles a day, each puzzle played with a different buddy, and the whole day is scored like golf, so results compare across friends in a glance.
One line: Get your buddy to guess your word, without saying the obvious.
For press copy only, if a comparison helps: a co-op twist on Taboo, played a turn at a time over a day. (Taboo is a trademark of Hasbro; the comparison is not used in Omitsy's own materials.)
Phone screenshots in light and dark; click one for full size. More, including desktop, on request.
Please keep the mark red and the wordmark on its yellow highlighter; don't recolour or stretch them.
A 30-second gameplay clip (9:16) is available on request, and short replay clips of real games can be made for a story.
If you'd like to make a video: the format that works is two people (a couple, roommates, siblings) playing a round, with the reaction when a buddy misses an obvious clue, or gives one that was on the omit list. Omitsy is free, no sign-up, and a game can be played across a day or in ten minutes if you're both online.
